BREAKING NEWS: KARAVALI ALE EDITOR B.V.SEETHARAM ARRESTED BY POLICE
BREAKING NEWS: Founder of “blackmail journalism industry” in Coastal Karnataka B.V.Seetharam, Editor of Karavali Ale Group in Mangalore was arrested by police on Saturday night for publishing provocative articles on Jain gurus and community.

B.V.Seetharam was in the news last month when he organised an attack on his own office to get sympathy in the name of “freedom of press” and at the same time collect lakhs of rupees in insurance money. Regular readers of this blog are aware how we have exposed blackmail journalism industry of B.V.Seetharam’s Karavali Ale group.
B.V.Seetharam who started his career in 1980s with “Canara Times” – first English newspaper in Coastal Karnataka held lot of promise till he ventured into sleazy underworld of evening newspapers. And from then on it has been a one way trip downhill for B.V.Seetharam - is said to have accumulated crores by venturing into blackmail journalism, “pay to print” model journalism, acting as a proxy for corrupt land mafia, corrupt government officials and politicians.
Of course all these reports were cleverly disguised by BVSee as a fight against “establishment” when in reality, his model of blackmail journalism spawned whole lot of wannabees like Hitendra Prasad of Udupi, Vijaya Kirana of Mangalore etc.

I used to read Canara Times when I was in Mangalore in 90s and B.V.Seetharam’s articles were very polished. But I think pull of revenue from sleazy journalism is too much I think. I can only pity him.

Happy to see police finally taking action against Ale.
Few years back Ale published a provocative report against Christians (saying they are converting people) and within one hour of that publication a mob attacked a church in Urva. Ale was never held responsible for that and I am glad at least now police are bold enough to tackle this criminal.

Sad turn of events. No, I am not sorry BVSee was finally arrested. Rather to see decline of everything in Mangalore area. I am an outsider who settled here since 1980s. Now you see newspapers like Karavali Ale and half dozen other evening newspaers those thrive on sensationalism. It is shocking and sickening to see blood, gore, nudity in full display when someone is reading these newspapers in public place like buses etc. This place was once known as “buddivantara jille” – it is time to regain that reputation back by isolating and boycotting such corrupt elements in the media.

FINALLY POLICE HAVE GUTS TO ARREST THIS HARAMI! HOW CAN ONE FORGET KARAVALI ALE PUBLISHING WRONG NEWS ON DEATH OF TEACHER BHAT DURING LAST COMMUNAL RIOTS WHICH PROVOKED HINDUS TO ATTACK US IN FULL FORCE. SEETHARAM HAS ALWAYS INDIRECTLY CREATED PROBLEMS FOR US MINORITIES, SO I THANK POLICE FROM BOTTOM OF MY HEART.
