B.V.SEETHARAM CONTINUES TO CLAIM HE IS NOT THE EDITOR,PRINTER OR PUBLISHER:Misguides Editors Guild of India and other National, International organisations

B.V.Seetharam tries to get into technilaties to avoid jail termB.V.Seetharam – head of blackmail media conglomerate, recently arrested after blackmailing Jain community in Mangalore – continues to mislead state, national, international media organisations.

In his latest letter to Editors Guild of India, B.V.Seetharam claims that he is neither Editor, Printer or Publisher of Karavali Ale Group. (as usual The Hindu was the only newspaper to publish his letter)

Of course, that immediately begs a question – if he is not the Editor, why is he even writing to Editors Guild of India? And why should Editors Guild of India even help B.V.Seetharam if he is not the Editor?

Let us keep that aside for a moment and focus on this new ploy by B.V.Seetharam to not take any responsibilities for his action. While this drama by B.V.Seetharam is not any surprise for regular readers of this blog and citizens of Mangalore, we are publishing this primarily to inform visitors of this blog.

From B.V.Seetharam’s letter:

He said he and his wife were arrested by the police though neither of them was the editor, printer or publisher of the newspapers concerned.

  • By claiming he is not the Editor, is B.V.Seetharam indirectly saying “it is OK to arrest the Editor”
  • So next question is, is he admitting that articles published in Karavali Ale indeed were “arrest worthy” of Editor?
  • If so, then we really need to pity some bakra who is now being readied to be sent to jail in lieu of B.V.Seetharam! This is how a typical underworld don works – admit mistake, accept judicial verdict – but then send some random person to jail – by providing money to that person for the “jail sit in”

One more gem from the letter:

Mr. Seetaram said two of his Kannada publications had published two articles relating to Jain monks on the theme “civility versus nudity.” They were intended to trigger a debate, he argued.

Ummmm….nice try. Publish an inflammatory article and then claim “it is to trigger a debate”. Nice explanation Mr.Seetharam. How about being brave and claiming “I asked Jain community for money. They did not oblige. So I started writing nasty things about Jain guru and community” – at least be honest Mr.Seetharam!

Karavali Ale reporters all over Coastal Karnataka are known for harassing businessmen, industries, educational institutes, politicians – especially women in politics, government officials, teachers etc and collect lakhs of rupees every week.

As we have repeatedly published in this blog, B.V.Seetharam has not hesitated to publish false stories pouring fuel into communal riots. So the sudden turnaround claiming “he just wanted a debate” is nothing but sheer cowardice on part of B.V.Seetharam to wriggle out of the mess he is currently in – what with two different courts in two different districts providing him only conditional bail.

B.V.Seetharam and his lawyers may device all kind of “technicalities” to avoid prison term – but one day law will ultimately catch up with B.V.Seetharam.

bvsee already has some non-entity as editor of karavali ale.

so bakra is all set on sacrificial chamber.
